Schneider Electric RSP program from july 2012 to march 2016

Working as subcontractor of the Schneider direction of Innovation, I promote multiple usages of embedded service platforms to the Businesses teams. This work is part of the Remote Service Platform ecosystem, a program focusing on interoperability between platforms, connecting devices to enterprise systems.

In this context, I also share my time to provide technical expertise on platforms embedding OSGi.

Collaboration to the STIX project : SOA Technologies Innovation Cross Domain.

Investigating SOA technologies to answer to the problem of large scale systems integration. The challenge is to bring coherent solutions to integrate numerous systems/devices/protocols from different Schneider business domains.

The chosen solution is relying on an OSGi embedded service bus.

Realization of home control and building demonstrators for research projects. Demonstrators show usage of the Schneider Electric OSGi platform interoperating with various field buses: Zigbee, DPWS, UPnP

The selected solution offers a software infrastructure to provision dynamically business and technical services. It currently relies on the Felix implementation of the OSGi framework.
